Job summary

YMCA School Age Care seeks a School Age Child Care Site Director to lead a K–5 program at a school site. You will supervise staff, plan activities, and communicate with parents to deliver engaging programs like arts, fitness, enrichment, and field trips.

The role requires 2+ years in childcare and management, 21+ years old, and compliance with state regulations. Schedule is Mon-Fri 40 hours; salary is $22/hour with benefits and free YMCA membership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old.
• 2+ years in a professional childcare or school-aged program.
• Education in child development, child guidance, human relations, or recreational programs or equivalent experience.
• Excellent planning, supervision, communication, organization, and human relations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, supervise, and implement site activities.
• Manage curriculum planning for the site.
• Develop and distribute parent communications.
• Assist with promotion of the program to the community.
• Maintain registrations, contracts, and forms for the site.
• Maintain program records such as attendance and schedules.
• Supervise staff and assist hiring.
• Maintain DCYF Certified Centers requirements.
• Follow CACFP and state regulations for meals and snacks.
