Job summary

YMCA OF COLLIER COUNTY INC is seeking a part-time School Age Enrichment Leader to supervise children in the after-school program. You will implement daily activities and maintain a safe, engaging environment for K-5 students.

The role requires a minimum age of 17, reliable transportation, and ability to obtain 45 hours of state-m mandated training within 90 days. A Level 2 background check is required.

POSITIONSUMMARY:

The SchoolAge Enrichment Leader position supports the work of the YMCA of Collier County,Inc., a leading not-for-profit organization committed to strengthening thecommunities in Collier County through its core focus areas of YouthDevelopment, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. The School Age Enrichment Leader is a vitalmember of a team of people with the goal of providing excellent care for schoolaged children (K-5th grade) during out of school hours, holidays,and camp days. Under the guidance of theSite Supervisor, he/she will be responsible for direct supervision of children,implementation of planned daily activities, and maintenance of all aspects ofthe Program environment. He/she willmake every effort to develop and foster a positive relationship with thechildren, their parents, school personnel, and community members.

Must be at least 17 years old or older. Must have reliable transportation.

Must be willing to obtain state mandated 45 hours of training within 90 days of employment.

Must be able to pass a level 2 background screening.

This is a part-time position, Monday-Friday from 2:15-6:30pm.

When public schools are closed, staff work full time shift hours at either Collier County YMCA branch location.

This can be an entry level position for the right candidate looking to pursue careers in social work, or childcare. We will train you!
