Job summary

Ally Financial is seeking a Director of Software Engineering – Salesforce to define the vision and roadmaps for Ally’s Salesforce platform. You will lead multiple engineering teams, align priorities with business goals, and ensure scalable, secure, and compliant solutions across Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, and more.

You will partner with Product, Architecture, and business leaders to deliver high-impact Salesforce capabilities, manage budgets, and mentor engineers and managers for

Qualifications

Requires 7+ years in software engineering or platform leadership.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Salesforce certifications preferred.
Experience leading enterprise Salesforce implementations and large delivery teams.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the Salesforce platform vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Lead multiple Salesforce engineering teams and set delivery expectations.
Oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, and dependencies for programs.
Guide architecture and design, balancing declarative and programmatic development.
Ensure security, privacy, accessibility, and compliance of Salesforce solutions.
Communicate strategy and progress to senior leaders.
