Job summary

We are seeking a Director of Software Engineering, Salesforce to lead the engineering teams responsible for designing, building, and scaling our Salesforce platform and its surrounding integration ecosystem.

This leader will own the technical strategy and delivery execution for Salesforce, partnering with Product, Architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing solutions that support our network of Financial Professionals.

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience, incl. 5+ years on Salesforce platform.
5+ years of people leadership managing managers or senior developers.
Hands-on Salesforce development: Apex, LWC, APIs, integrations.
Experience leading enterprise Salesforce implementations and upgrades.
Strong collaboration with Product, Architecture, Security and Compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineering managers and developers.
Own the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for Salesforce ecosystem.
Partner with Product Management to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Drive CI/CD, automated testing, release management, and DevOps maturity.
Oversee system performance, scalability, and platform health for Salesforce.
Enforce secure development practices in line with regulatory requirements.
Act as primary escalation point for incidents, integrations, and releases.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture for ecosystem integration.
Manage vendor relationships and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Champion Agile practices and capacity planning across teams.
