Job summary
The Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association, Inc is seeking an experienced safety leader to direct OSHA compliance and oversee the Melt Shop construction safety program in a high‑hazard environment. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety/Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of safety leadership in heavy industrial or construction settings.
- Proven track record managing OSHA inspections, citations, and abatements.
Responsibilities
- Lead OSHA compliance efforts, inspections, citations, abatements, and follow-ups.
- Oversee safety for Melt Shop construction from planning to commissioning.
- Review contractor safety programs, JSAs, and site-specific safety plans.
- Coordinate with project teams to integrate safety into design and operations.
- Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and track metrics.
