Job summary

Function Health, a health-tech company redefining how people understand their health, seeks a Director, Revenue Accounting to own consumer revenue close, margin reporting and SOX controls. Lead an in-house multidisciplinary team, consolidate multiple streams onto one process, and drive automation including AI agents to scale as we grow.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with in-house revenue close for consumer/health tech.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue and direct-cost accounting for consumer streams and margin reporting.
• Bring the close in house and standardize to a single process across streams.
• Own sales tax compliance for consumer products and resolve nexus/taxability questions.
• Automate month-end using AI tools or agents to scale the close.
• Incorporate new products into the standard close process from day one.
• Hire and develop the close team and expand ownership as the group grows.
• Own the audit relationship and ensure SOX-ready controls and documentation.
