Job summary

Dr. Squatch is seeking a Director of Retail Sales to lead our Target partnership from Minneapolis. You will own the relationship, P&L, and strategic roadmap for growth across distribution, pricing, and promotions, working with marketing, product, operations, and finance.

You will coach a team, negotiate at high levels, and drive joint business planning with Target while leveraging data from Circana, NIQ, and Target POS to inform decisions and actions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of CPG sales or account management experience.
• Direct Target experience, including JBP process, planning cadence, and supply chain.
• Minneapolis experience strongly preferred.
• Proven people leadership: coach, develop, and build bench strength.
• Track record of leading complex negotiations (pricing, funding, trade terms).
• Fluency in retail P&L mechanics and syndicated data; comfortable with executive presentations.

Responsibilities

• Own the Target account strategy across distribution, assortment and space, pricing, promotions, and digital.
• Lead the Joint Business Plan with Target and multi-year growth roadmap.
• Senior day-to-day relationship owner with Target buyers and merchants.
• Lead negotiations on price, promotional funding, and margin structure.
• Own the account P&L: forecasting, trade spend efficiency, ROI, and reconciliation.
• Use Circana, NIQ, and Target POS data to read trends and shape strategy.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Target team, including talent planning.
• Partner with Marketplaces and ecommerce on Target.com and Roundel.
• Drive in-store and online presence, including displays and fixtures.
