Walmart is seeking a Director of Business Development for Retail EV Charging to lead the national development and execution strategy for the retailer’s public charging network. This onsite role, based in Bentonville, AR, drives site selection, capital investment, and end-to-end deployment across Walmart and Sam’s Club locations, with relocation provided and remote work not being considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field and 5 years’ experience in utility operations or related area OR 7 years’ experience in utility operations or related area.
• 1 year’s supervisory experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead national strategy: Develop the multi-year Retail EV Charging roadmap, prioritizing markets and sites based on customer demand, utility readiness, and economics.
• Build the team: Lead regional network developers with clear accountability, scalable processes, and strong execution standards.
• Drive deployment: Oversee site development, engineering, permitting, interconnection, construction, and commissioning.
• Advance partnerships and performance: Align internal teams, utilities, suppliers, and engineering partners; manage KPIs, risks, and executive visibility.
• Own capital execution: Lead portfolio forecasting, budgeting, allocation, and investment performance.
