The position requires deep experience in commercial energy projects, strong safety leadership, and the ability to translate complex energy topics into actionable plans for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Business, Finance or related field.
• 6+ years in utility operations or related area.
• 8+ years in energy/utility operations with leadership experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Walmart Energy's long-term onsite energy strategy for U.S. stores, clubs, and facilities.
• Lead portfolio development across solar, BESS, generators, microgrids, and other DERs.
• Oversee project origination, business cases, engineering, execution, and governance.
• Build and lead high-performing teams; manage developers, EPCs, and tech partners.
• Drive cross-functional alignment and translate energy market trends into scalable investment strategies.
