Walmart Inc. in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Director of Business Development for Retail EV Charging to lead the national strategy and execution of Walmart and Sam’s Club charging infrastructure.

This onsite role requires coordinating with Real Estate, Energy, Utilities, Technology, Finance, Procurement and Store Operations to align investments with enterprise priorities and scalable operations. The position offers relocation and an onsite Home Office in Bentonville.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field and 5 years’ experience in utility operations or related area OR 7 years’ experience in utility operations or related area.
• 1 year’s supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead national strategy: Develop multi-year Retail EV Charging roadmap prioritizing markets and sites based on customer demand, utility readiness, and economics.
• Build the team: Lead regional network developers with clear accountability, scalable processes, and strong execution standards.
• Drivedeployment: Oversees site development, engineering, permitting, interconnection, construction, and commissioning.
• Advance partnerships and performance: Align internal teams, utilities, suppliers, and engineering partners; manage KPIs, risks, and executive visibility.
• Own capital execution: Lead portfolio forecasting, budgeting, allocation, and investment performance.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
