Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field required.
• Senior Manager: bachelor's (or equivalency) + 8 years or master's (or equivalency) + 6 years.
• Associate Director: bachelor's (or equivalency) + 10 years or master's (or equivalency) + 8 years.
• Director: bachelor's (or equivalency) + 12 years or master's (or equivalency) + 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance Oversight; interpret export control laws (EAR/ITAR/OFAC).
• Technology & Research Review of proposals, awards, contracts, tech transfer.
• Restricted Party Screening of collaborators, visitors, and foreign entities.
• International Travel and Shipping Oversight for compliance in fieldwork.
• Licensing & Agreements: assist with export licenses, CJ/CCATS, TCPs.
• Education & Outreach: develop training for faculty, staff, students.
• Foreign Influence & Research Security support for compliance with requirements.
• Recordkeeping & Audits: maintain docs for export control reviews and licenses.
• Collaboration & Policy Development with internal offices; policy updates.
• Legal & Ethical Risk Assessment to ensure defensible compliance actions.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Senior Manager: 8 years experience or Master’s 6 years

Associate Director: 10 years experience or Master’s 8 years

Director: 12 years experience or Master’s 10 years
