Job summary

Invenergy, LLC is seeking a Director of Renewables Regional Operations & Maintenance to oversee wind O&M across multiple centers, ensuring safe, efficient operations and strong team performance. The role is based near Chicago with potential project assignments in the broader region.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in engineering/ops with 5+ years in leadership, plus CMMS and O&M knowledge. A 50% travel requirement and a competitive compensation package are offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in engineering, operations or maintenance.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of CMMS and O&M practices.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Able to work outdoors in variable weather and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Engage with EHS to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Ensure work complies with policies and contracts.
• Develop and implement operations philosophies aligned with company culture/missions.
• Evaluate and streamline maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Collaborate with O&M Managers and Operations Engineering to resolve technical issues.
• Drive employee engagement and culture across the region.
• Contribute to budget development, tracking and analysis.
• Recruit, select and train operating and administrative personnel.
• Conduct visits and audits of wind energy centers.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
