Job summary

Pawnee Mental Health in Kansas is seeking a Recovery Services Manager to direct the RS program across a 10-county service area, ensuring continuity of quality services and alignment with our mission. You will lead and develop staff, oversee budgeting, and maintain program records to support client care and compliance.

As a key member of the management team, you will develop policies and outcomes, liaise with state agencies, and collaborate with the Medical Services Team to maximize treatment

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or closely related field.
• Licensed or able to be licensed as aQMHP by the State of Kansas.
• Licensed Master Addiction Counselor (LMAC) certification.
• 5 years of direct experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment.
• Previous management or supervisory experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Basic personal computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Recovery Services (RS) program across Pawnee's 10-county service area.
• Hire, supervise and evaluate qualified staff, including supervisors.
• Assist the financial program in budgeting to balance RS needs with Pawnee goals.
• Oversee development and maintenance of program records and outcomes.
• Develop and monitor policies, procedures, and outcome measures for RS.
• Collaborate with Medical Services Team and external partners to maximize care.
• Ensure compliance with state reporting, licensing, and certifications.
