Trustly, a global leader in Open Banking Payments, is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the risk decisioning and collections platforms. Based in the US, this hybrid role places you in our New York or San Francisco hubs, shaping real‑time decisioning and regulatory compliance in payments.

You will lead PMs, collaborate with Risk Engineering, and drive a data‑driven operating rhythm across Data and Risk.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management with 5+ years in risk, fraud or collections in payments.
• Experience building real-time decisioning platforms with rules engines.
• Experience leading product managers and partnering with engineering on architecture, build-versus-buy and delivery.
• Experience shipping ML-driven products with data science teams.
• Experience translating regulatory obligations into product requirements with Compliance and Legal.
• Experience running planning and operating cadence for a multi-team organization: OKRs, headcount, budget, business reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for the risk decisioning platform and the collections platform.
• Lead the risk decisioning platform: real-time engine, scoring, latency, and threshold authoring with versioning.
• Lead the collections platform: representment, retry, recovery workflows, and vendor integrations.
• Lead risk operations tooling: alerts, queues, and per-merchant risk settings.
• Partner with Risk Engineering on architecture, release planning, and trade-offs across cost and risk.
• Define models and features with Risk Data Science and Data Platform for production decision paths.
• Run the Data and Risk operating cadence: OKRs, roadmaps, headcount, budget.
