Job summary

Trustly is seeking a Director of Risk Product Management and Team Operations to lead the strategy for risk decisioning and collections platforms in a hybrid role based in San Francisco or New York. You will drive operating rhythm for Data and Risk, align with Compliance and Legal, and work with Risk Engineering to balance cost, risk and delivery.

You will manage and develop PMs for risk and collections, advancing real-time decisioning capabilities and ML-enhanced risk workflows, while

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management, incl. 5+ years leading risk, fraud or collections products in payments/financial services.
• Experience building real-time decisioning platforms: rules engines, model scores, and rollback capabilities.
• Experience shipping ML-driven products with data science teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmaps for risk decisioning and collections platforms, linked to approval, loss and recovery metrics.
• Lead real-time decision engine and collections workflows, with rule authoring, simulation and rollback.
• Oversee risk operations tooling, alerting, case management and per-merchant risk settings.
• Coordinate with Risk Engineering on architecture, release planning and prioritization across platforms.
• Translate regulatory obligations into product requirements with Compliance and Legal.
• Define models/features with Data Science and Data Platform for production use.
• Run operating rhythm for Data and Risk, with plans, audits, and executive updates.
