Job summary

Trustly, a global Open Banking Payments leader, seeks a highly analytical Product Analyst to deepen data capabilities and shape the future of our payment products. You will bridge complex data infrastructure and product strategy through advanced analytics, modeling, and robust experimentation.

You will partner with EU and US teams to define KPIs, build ML models for fraud detection and segmentation, and develop dashboards that reveal real-time product health and user behavior.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role in FinTech/SaaS.
• Expert proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience in data modeling (Kimball or relational) and using dbt.
• Strong skills in designing and analyzing experiments (A/B) with statistical inference.
• Hands-on experience building ML models (classification, clustering) using Python/R and scikit-learn.
• Ability to translate technical insights into clear, strategic business recommendations for non-technical audiences.
• Experience with BI tools like Looker/Tableau/Power BI for dashboards.
• Familiarity with LLM agents and agentic analytics tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to optimize product features and drive conversion.
• Develop and maintain scalable data models in the data warehouse (dbt) for core metrics.
• Build and deploy machine learning classification models to enhance product quality.
• Partner with Product Managers to define KPIs and measure impact of launches.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Create and maintain automated dashboards and reports for real-time product visibility.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure data quality and proper tracking for new features.
• Educate stakeholders on data interpretation and experimentation best practices.
• Leverage agentic analytics workflows to accelerate reporting across product lines.
