Mattress Warehouse is seeking a Real Estate Director to lead our store-expansion strategy across the United States. You will identify and evaluate locations, negotiate terms, and oversee portfolio performance to support growth goals.

Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams, manage multiple transactions, and travel as needed to site visits and market analyses, while shaping a best-in-class retail real estate program.

Formación

• Minimum of five years of experience in lease negotiation and renewal.
• Experience in commercial retail real estate, preferably supporting a multi-location or national retail organization.
• Strong negotiation, financial analysis, and portfolio management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple real estate transactions, projects, and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Strategic mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to travel as needed to support market visits, site evaluations, and business priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead real estate strategy and execution for new store development.

• Oversee lease renewals, relocations, and store closures.
• Optimize the existing retail portfolio to support business performance and long-term growth.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords, developers, and commercial real estate brokers.
• Support market analysis, demographic research, and site selection decisions.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders throughout the real estate transaction process.
• Manage real estate reporting, analytics, and strategic planning.
• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to real estate team members.
• Partner with executive and cross-functional teams to align real estate initiatives with company goals.
