Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a Director of Real Estate to lead the corporate portfolio and steer strategic decisions across multiple brands. You will analyze P&L and leases, research markets, and guide negotiations with brokers and landlords to align real estate with operating goals.

With 7+ years in corporate real estate, you will manage renewals, negotiate complex term sheets, and collaborate with construction, finance, and facilities. Wichita-based, travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of corporate real estate experience, preferably in multi-unit retail/restaurants.
• Proven success in lease negotiations and portfolio management.
• Independent thinker with strategic mindset and financial literacy.
• Experience leading or collaborating with external partners (brokers, counsel, consultants).
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance; MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis of P&L and leases; perform market research and synthesize insights to guide negotiations.
• Negotiate leases, amendments, and property transactions to support long-term strategy.
• Manage key dates, lease clauses, renewals, and data across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with construction, finance, accounting, and facilities to align real estate with operations.
• Support development strategy with market insight and analysis for buy/sell decisions.
• Serve as liaison with brokers, landlords, attorneys, and developers.
