Job summary

IonQ is seeking a Director of Product Management - Quantum Cloud to lead two value streams: our global Cloud Experience and Hybrid Services. You will define product roadmaps, prioritize requirements, and work with engineering, design, and partners to deliver a scalable platform that enables global access to IonQ hardware.

The role emphasizes a strong product-led growth mindset, API developer-experience, and collaboration across teams to drive pricing, onboarding, and multi-region deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience with product-led growth motions (freemium, tier upgrades, onboarding, conversion funnel optimization).
• Experience with API and developer-experience design and tradeoffs between developer ergonomics and platform capabilities.
• World-class written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent real-world experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product roadmap and prioritize requirements.
• Communicate a strong POV about cloud customers and their needs in roadmaps and plans.
• Deeply understand IonQ's cloud architecture, hybrid runtime, and integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering and design to ship clear roadmaps and priorities.
• Own pricing, signup-to-first-job funnel, and orchestration roadmap (HPC, workflows).
• Lead GTM strategy for Quantum Cloud and hybrid runtime and drive multi-region rollouts.
