Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Director of Provider Compensation to lead all aspects of physician and advanced practitioner compensation programs, ensuring compliance with policies and government regulations. Remote work is possible with quarterly travel to the Delaware campus and national travel as needed.

The role will develop market-competitive compensation and total rewards strategies, supervise a team of five, and collaborate with finance and clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in provider compensation, benefits administration and incentive design.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of market-competitive provider compensation methodologies aligned with financial objectives.
• Advise clinical leadership on compensation decisions consistent with the compensation philosophy and strategy.
• Conduct provider job evaluations and assign appropriate levels, titles and FLSA classifications.
• Lead market assessments, cost analyses, and routine reporting for provider roles.
• Oversee the RFP process, implementation, and maintenance of an automated Provider Compensation Payroll solution.
