Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, is seeking an Associate Director for Prospect Management and Research. This role partners with front-line fundraising staff to provide strategic prospect insights, manage portfolios, and respond to research requests with discretion and accuracy.

The position emphasizes creative thinking, data interpretation of complex documents, and collaboration across the Development Office to expand the prospect pool and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with research techniques (print/online, databases, interviews).
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
• Capacity to work with frontline fundraising officers in a team-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on individuals, corporations, and foundations to build profiles.
• Analyze requests and determine appropriate level of detail.
• Rate giving capacity of prospects and support portfolio management.
• Maintain up-to-date information on prospects and donors.
• Prepare progress reports and contribute to process improvements.
