Ladders, a leader in the Enterprise Technology space, seeks a Director of Proposals to guide strategy, execution, and quality across competitive pursuits from Washington, DC. This role partners with account teams and senior leadership to shape compelling, compliant submissions that clearly communicate customer value.

You will drive workforce planning, resource allocation, and proposal process improvements to boost win rates and operational efficiency, while managing a high-performing proposals

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience leading proposals in defense, aerospace, or government technology sectors.
• Proven track record of delivering competitive and compliant submissions.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary proposal teams and resource allocation.
• Strong skills in solicitation analysis and proposal planning.
• Exceptional writing and editing abilities under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with government contracting requirements and proposal obligations.
• Ability to build processes that enhance quality and efficiency.

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Proposals (R6263) to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will lead a high-performing proposal function, guiding strategy, execution, and quality across competitive pursuits in a complex, fast-paced environment. The Director will partner closely with account teams, senior leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to shape compelling, compliant submissions that clearly communicate customer value. This position will also drive workforce planning, resource allocation, and proposal process improvement to strengthen win rates and operational efficiency.

Location: Washington, DC

Compensation: $200,000 – $300,000 annually
