Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a Director of Project Management in Denver to standardize and deploy PM operating systems across sites. You will lead governance, training, and capability-building to ensure safe, predictable, and profitable project outcomes.

The role requires 15+ years in project management, 5+ years in energy construction, and a bachelor’s in a related field. Expect extensive travel and collaboration with field leadership to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive construction project management experience.
• 5+ years in utility-scale solar, renewable energy, or large self-perform construction.
• Experience coaching and mentoring project management professionals across projects.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and improve PRE's project management framework and standards.
• Develop and deploy standardized PM processes across renewable energy projects.
• Lead project management training programs for PMs, Construction Managers, and Operations leaders.
• Coach field teams and conduct site visits to reinforce PM fundamentals.
• Support planning sessions, risk mitigation, and recovery plans for at-risk projects.
• Train and establish competency pathways for project management personnel.
• Align project execution with company objectives and drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Promote governance, stage-gate reviews, and robust project health reviews.
• Collaborate across Operations, Project Controls, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance.
• Drive forecast accuracy, cost management, and margin protection.
