Director, Project Management

We are seeking an experienced and driven Director, Project Management for our client to lead end-to-end planning and execution for our competitive cardiometabolic projects. You will partner closely with the VP Program Management and cross-functional teams to drive progress on key programs.

This role demands a problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and embraces change with agility and focus. Your ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders and your passion for delivering world-class results will be essential.

***Experience working in a biotech/pharma environment is essential - clinical development specifically is a bonus!***

What You’ll Do

• Lead comprehensive project management of competitive programs from conception through execution
• Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, track milestones, and manage dependencies
• Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings, prepare agendas/materials, and document actions
• Support senior leadership with timely updates on project status, risks, and budget considerations
• Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment
• Identify opportunities for process improvements across communication, documentation, and workflows
• Bring a “whatever it takes” mindset to help the team navigate challenges and accelerate delivery

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in drug development project management
• Strong understanding of cross-functional drug development processes and agile methodologies
• Proficiency with project management tools (Smartsheets preferred), Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex topics simply
• Demonstrated ability to innovate, problem-solve, and adapt in a dynamic environment
• Emerging leadership skills including strategic planning, prioritization, and conflict resolution
• Humility and willingness to roll up your sleeves to support teams and get results
