Job summary

Taidou LLC is seeking a Director in Project Management to own a portfolio of client relationships and a segment of the PM offering. You will sell and oversee work, lead senior teams, and be accountable for revenue, delivery quality, and the practice's reputation with clients.

The role covers Programme Setup, Recovery, EPMO and Benefits Realization. You will originate, shape and close new work with executive buyers while guiding delivery across engagements and staffing.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of relevant experience in project management, including senior client leadership.
• A track record of originating and growing client relationships and revenue.
• Experience leading large engagements and senior teams.
• Recognized expertise in at least one area of the practice.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

The Role

As a Director in Project Management, you own a portfolio of client relationships and a part of the Project Management offering. Preferred (nice to have, not required)

• Experience in one or more of our industries: aerospace & defense, consumer, education, energy, financial services, government & public services, health care, insurance, sports, technology, media & telecom, and utilities & renewables.
• Consulting background combined with time in industry running the work.
• Relevant professional certifications for the service line.

• Senior-led delivery — no bench, no handoff between the team that wins the work and the team that runs it.
• Named scope and named exclusions, agreed before work starts.
• Handover after adoption, to named owners, with a follow-up review we schedule ourselves.
• Independence from vendors: no referral fees, reseller margins or commissions.

Engagement & Compensation

This role is contract-to-hire. You join Taidou as an independent contractor for an initial onboarding period (typically 90 days), during which we agree your goals together. Once the conversion criteria set out in your offer are met, you convert to a full-time position with benefits.

Compensation is competitive and set according to experience and scope, and includes commission on the business you originate or grow. Full details are confirmed in your offer letter.
