Cumming Group is hiring an Associate Director, Project Controls, onsite with a life sciences client in Thousand Oaks, CA. You will forecast deviations, develop mitigations, and lead large-scale projects while mentoring teams and managing cost, schedule, and risk.

The role emphasizes client engagement, QA/QC, and business development with a strong focus on value engineering and project governance.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture or related field.
• Experience of 10+ years in project controls.
• MRICS, CPE, CCE, CEP, PMP or Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client accounts with growth potential and ensure project controls delivery.
• Lead capital planning, governance, front-end planning and funding.
• Manage schedule control, cost management, and risk across large life-science projects.
• Mentor and supervise team members; drive staff development.
• Lead fee proposals and business development efforts.
• Ensure QA/QC reviews with directors and lessons learned sessions.
