Job summary

Cumming Group seeks an Associate Director, Project Controls to lead client accounts in our growing life sciences practice on-site at Thousand Oaks, CA, engaging with project teams to forecast deviations and implement mitigations.

You will oversee capital planning, governance, front-end planning, funding, scheduling, risk management, and cost control; mentor staff, lead QA/QC reviews, and contribute to business development and client growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading project controls for large-scale life sciences or multi-phase projects.
• Strong governance, budgeting, and front-end planning capabilities.
• Proven ability to develop staff and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee capital planning, portfolio and project governance.
• Lead front end planning, project funding, and project setup.
• Manage scheduling, cost control, risk management and QA/QC reviews.
• Participate in business development and client growth.
• Mentor and develop team members; oversee fee proposals.
