Cumming Group is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager to be based on-site with a life sciences client in Thousand Oaks, CA. You will lead project controls, forecast deviations, and develop mitigations to enable large-scale projects with strong governance and cost management discipline.

The role requires advanced Excel skills, collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, and proactive risk management to drive on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in project controls for large-scale life science / construction projects.
• Ability to interpret schedules and cost data across multiple disciplines.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform project controls services including capital planning and project governance.
• Support development of client capital plans with cashflow and accrual data.
• Consolidate inputs to create funding requests and manage procurement to pay workflows.
• Forecast deviations and develop mitigations with project teams.
• Ensure effective project close-out and accurate financial reporting.
