Job summary

Enerfab in Cincinnati, OH (with Kansas City, MO consideration) seeks a Director of Project Controls to lead enterprise governance of cost, schedule, and reporting for multiple field projects. This role partners with Field Operations and shared services to ensure consistency and accountability.

You will drive standardization of BOPs, optimize ERP systems like SAP, Primavera P6 and Procore, and deliver audit-ready records, timely forecasts, and actionable insights to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, finance, or related field.
• 10+ years in industrial construction, project controls or related fields with field operations experience.
• 5+ years in leadership across multiple projects or offices; enterprise alignment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, scheduling, contracts, timekeeping, billing, and reporting.
• Experience with ERP and project management systems; SAP, Primavera P6, Procore beneficial.
• Strong Excel, data analysis, communication, and process documentation skills.
• Ability to improve processes and build alignment across teams.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce standardized project controls and governance across regional offices.
• Align cost controls, forecasting, scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting.
• Standardize project setup, document control, contracts and closeout practices.
• Ensure reliable timekeeping, payroll handoffs, and labor compliance.
• Standardize billing processes and improve timeliness and cost accuracy.
• Promote consistent use of ERP, scheduling, document management, and reporting platforms.
• Coach teams and develop regional capability through leadership.
