Job summary

Mastercard seeks a User Experience Design Subject Matter Expert to advance our enterprise Product Onboarding Strategy. You will design intuitive onboarding experiences across multiple capabilities and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional partners to translate strategy into high-quality user journeys.

Qualifications

• Solid experience designing user experiences for digital products or platforms.
• Ability to create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs.
• Strong understanding of usability principles and human-centered design approaches.
• Experience delivering end-to-end design solutions for features or mid-sized initiatives.
• Experience applying design standards, patterns, and frameworks.
• Experience participating in design reviews and incorporating feedback.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver user experiences across Product Onboarding capabilities, translating complex workflows into clear user journeys.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, TPMs, and Engineering to support design from concept through delivery.
• Contribute to requirements through user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes; ensure usability best practices.
• Align designs with business goals, technical feasibility, and user outcomes.
• Apply and extend design patterns, frameworks, and standards to drive consistency across onboarding experiences.
• Incorporate customer feedback, conduct usability testing, and refine designs for accessibility and effectiveness.
