Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Director-level UX Design SME to lead onboarding experiences across enterprise capabilities. You will translate strategies into intuitive journeys, partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams, and contribute to reusable design patterns to reduce friction and improve adoption.

You will participate in user research, usability testing, and governance to ensure high-quality design outcomes across Settings, SCM, ODT, and Product Express platforms.

Qualifications

• Solid experience designing user experiences for digital products or platforms.
• Ability to create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs.
• Strong understanding of usability principles and human-centered design approaches.
• Experience delivering end-to-end design solutions for features or mid-sized initiatives.
• Ability to translate requirements into clear, actionable design artifacts.
• Comfortable iterating based on feedback and evolving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver user experiences across Product Onboarding capabilities.
• Translate complex workflows into clear, intuitive user journeys across Settings, SCM, ODT, and Product Express.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, TPMs, and Engineering from concept through delivery.
• Contribute to reusable design patterns and ensure usability best practices.
• Participate in user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis.
