Kate Spade New York is seeking a Director of Product Design UX/UI to lead end-to-end design across our ecommerce experiences. You will translate customer insights, business strategy, and brand priorities into high-performing digital experiences, mentoring a team of designers while shaping the design system and patterns used across brands.

Qualificações

• Significant experience in product/UX design leading designers and initiatives.
• Experience with high-traffic consumer digital products in ecommerce or marketplaces.
• Strong portfolio showing interaction design, systems thinking, and measurable impact.
• Proficiency in responsive web and mobile design.
• Proven ability to base decisions on customer research and analytics.
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams.
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and complex stakeholders.
• Experience coaching designers across levels.

Responsabilidades

• Lead UX and product design across major ecommerce journeys.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of product designers.
• Set the experience vision for high-priority initiatives.
• Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering from problem definition through launch.
• Build strong partnerships with Brand, Creative, Analytics, Research, Marketing, and senior stakeholders.
• Champion customer-centered decision making through research, analytics, and experimentation.
• Establish a culture of continuous learning and experimentation.
• Create and evolve scalable UX patterns and systems across brands.
• Guide designers through complex interaction, information architecture, and responsive design.
• Develop narratives and presentations for executive audiences.
• Balance immediate priorities with longer-term customer experience improvements.
• Identify opportunities to simplify experiences and push for new capabilities.
