Job summary

Western Union seeks an experienced attorney for our Product Legal team. You will provide legal guidance on payments, FinTech and digital assets, partnering with product leaders to shape, implement and update offerings.

You will review and negotiate strategic partner agreements, support global initiatives, and monitor evolving regulatory requirements to protect the business and customers.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of experience in-house or at a law firm, with at least 3 years focused on payments, FinTech, or digital assets and blockchain space.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and direction for Western Union business units to deliver strategic priorities.
• Lead strategic legal and regulatory support for global initiatives and products.
• Coordinate legal advice across functions and drive optimal business outcomes.
• Review, draft and negotiate agreements with strategic partners.
• Provide legal guidance to business partners and coordinate with outside counsel.
• Monitor and analyze new or existing laws and provide updates to leadership.
• Advise on product requirements and ensure compliance disclosures.
• Drive a customer-first orientation and end-to-end value delivery.
• May lead one or more legal professionals.
