Position Overview

The Director of Product Commercialization will be instrumental in driving the development and execution of Payroc’s product strategy, focusing on innovative solutions that align with our vision and elevate customer satisfaction. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of payment processing technologies and market trends, who will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring cutting-edge products to market.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Product Commercialization: Lead cross-functional team meetings for the purpose of product and/or feature roll outs.
  • Product Roadmap: Define and manage the product roadmap in alignment with Payroc’s strategic goals, ensuring that product development supports the company’s vision and objectives.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research to understand customer needs, emerging technologies, and market trends. Stay informed about competitors and industry shifts to drive product innovation.
  • Product Development: Lead the design and development of new products, creating detailed mock-ups and prototypes to communicate product concepts effectively. Participate in all phases of the product lifecycle, from analysis and design to testing and integration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to translate customer needs and technology trends into actionable product specifications. Ensure successful product launches within budget and on schedule.
  • Sales Support: Provide product information, demonstrations, and training to the sales team. Assist in the development of product pricing strategies and support sales initiatives with comprehensive product knowledge.
  • Product Requirements and Justification: Gather, draft, and refine product requirements, and align stakeholders on product definitions. Prepare and present business justifications for new initiatives to internal teams.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Place the customer at the center of product decisions, continuously identifying and addressing their current and future needs to exceed expectations. Promote a high-performance, inclusive culture within a quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the payment processing industry.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of market segmentation, trends, and demands specific to payment processing.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to distill complex problems into clear, actionable insights and conclusions. Expertise in technical, financial, and marketing principles relevant to product management.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrated commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs, with a focus on delivering high-quality products.
  • Professionalism: High degree of integrity, professionalism, and credibility, with the ability to foster a high-performance, inclusive culture.
