Job summary

BNY in Lake Mary, FL is seeking a Director to lead the Private Equity Fund Accounting team, directing multiple groups responsible for NAV calculations, fund performance, expense allocation, and client reporting.

You will manage the unit's people and resources, shape functional strategy, oversee client relationships, and participate in sales activities such as RFP/RFI, with a focus on delivering accurate NAVs and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience required.
• 7–10 years of total work experience with 3–5 years in management preferred.
• Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct a Fund Accounting area with multiple teams handling NAV, fund performance, expenses, and reporting.
• Manage financial and human resources to meet unit goals and objectives.
• Develop functional strategy and set NAV guidelines across funds.
• Oversee client relationship management, resolve client issues, and participate in RFP/RFI activities.
