BNY Mellon in Lake Mary, FL seeks a VP to join the Private Equity Accounting Team. The role requires in-office work four days a week in Lake Mary, Florida, with responsibility for complex fund NAVs, performance calculation, and expense allocation.

You will lead junior staff and ensure accuracy across client-specific fund reporting. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of experience, a Bachelor’s in accounting, and Big 4 exposure, with strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge and a proven ability to guide

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years total work experience preferred.
• Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.
• Experience evaluating GAAP and/or IFRS rules for fund accounting impact.
• Ability to supervise and review cash and asset reconciliations for complex accounts.

Responsabilités

• Conduct accounting services for assigned clients and complex funds including NAVs, fund performance, expense allocation, and reporting.
• Lead junior team members for assigned client or fund and provide guidance on complex accounting tasks.
• Drive service improvement plans, target efficiencies, enhance processes, and perform specialist reviews.
• Interact with clients to answer questions and resolve multifaceted issues regarding fund reports and accounting processes.
