Job summary

829 Studios, a Boston-based integrated digital marketing agency, is seeking a Director of Business Development – Private Equity to open the PE market and drive a steady pipeline. You will work with the CEO and AEA to shape targeting, pricing, and program design, while building sponsor relationships and leading outreach.

You'll generate pipeline, partner with sales to close deals, and serve as the face of 829 at PE events.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business development, partnerships, or sales — ideally selling marketing or professional services through the private equity channel.
• Ability to build pipeline and generate sponsor relationships with CEOs, CFOs, and operating partners.
• Strong executive presence and comfort representing a agency at PE events.

Responsibilities

• Build a new channel with the CEO and AEA to shape the ideal customer profile, pricing, and program design.
• Tap the AEA network for warm introductions and position 829 to sponsors.
• Develop genuine relationships with sponsor firms and portfolio teams to open doors.
• Be the face of 829 at PE and industry events and drive qualified pipeline.
• Collaborate with sales to convert sourced opportunities into signed programs.
