Job summary

BMO is hiring a Director, Private Credit Special Assets Management in the United States. You will lead complex middle-market sponsor-backed leveraged finance resolutions, collaborating with sponsors, borrowers, and internal stakeholders to protect the Bank’s interests while achieving client outcomes.

You will apply credit, underwriting, negotiation, and relationship management expertise in a fast-paced environment with high-stakes exposures.

Responsibilities

• Lead resolution of complex middle-market, sponsor-backed leveraged finance transactions.
• Develop restructuring and workout strategies.
• Advise stakeholders on credit risk transactions and mitigation strategies.
• Make credit decisions and recommendations per policy and procedures.
• Monitor financial and risk performance of the portfolio and provide insights.
