Job summary

Setpoint seeks a Director to join its Sales team in the United States, reporting to a Managing Director. Bring your knowledge of credit markets and private credit to grow institutional partnerships and revolutionize asset-backed finance.

You’ll cultivate relationships, create opportunities, and work with leadership to close deals, while expanding Setpoint’s coverage and market reach in a dynamic, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–8 years of relevant experience in asset-backed finance, private credit, or structured credit.
• Established network across credit funds, banks, originators, or capital markets counterparties.
• Commercial instincts with a track record turning relationships into business.
• Ability to understand deal mechanics and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative approach to building a growing sales organization.
• Willingness to travel regularly for in-person meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop relationships with banks, credit funds, originators, and other institutions to generate new business.
• Leverage your network to open doors, develop a pipeline, and create commercial opportunities.
• Own coverage across a portfolio of institutions and identify where Setpoint can deliver value.
• Partner with MD and sales leadership to develop account strategies and drive deals from initial conversation through close.
• Develop expertise in coverage markets and help Setpoint expand into adjacent asset classes.
• Work with Product and cross-functional teams to communicate client needs and shape solutions.
• Represent Setpoint at industry events and client meetings to strengthen market presence.
• Support the team’s go-to-market execution as the business scales.
