Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Atlanta is seeking a Director to join our Private Client Services practice. You will lead accounting engagements for high net worth clients, oversee multiple work streams, and develop trusted client relationships.

This role requires a CPA, a bachelor's in accounting, and extensive experience. You will mentor staff, manage budgets, and contribute to business development. Salary range $130,000 - $175,000 with a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification.
• 5+ years’ experience; Private Client Services/Family Office exposure preferred.
• Strong integrity and confidentiality in handling client information.
• Proven experience leading teams and multiple work streams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; client-facing ability.
• Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and oversee accounting processes, including posting to G/L and monthly close.
• Manage accounting functions for families; AP, invoicing, and payments.
• Prepare financial packages and supporting schedules for clients.
• Develop and document accounting controls; ensure timely, accurate work product.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate Associates, Senior Associates and Managers.
