Job summary

LCS in Des Moines, IA seeks a Director of Finance and Pricing to lead a centralized pricing, revenue analytics, and underwriting team. You will shape pricing strategy, forecast demand, and drive long-term financial performance across divisions.

Role combines advanced financial modeling, business analytics, and strategic leadership to guide major commercial decisions and growth initiatives in the senior living sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, pricing, revenue management, FP&A, analytics, underwriting, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience building financial models and using data to influence decisions.
• Strong forecasting, financial analysis, and revenue optimization knowledge.
• Experience leading high-performing teams and developing talent.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence across functions.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, real estate, hospitality, financial services, insurance, or related industries.
• Experience building or scaling centralized finance or analytics teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise pricing strategy and governance across multiple divisions.
• Develop recommendations to optimize revenue, occupancy, cash flow, and long-term outcomes.
• Build and maintain financial models for pricing, forecasting, underwriting, and initiatives.
• Analyze pricing effectiveness, market performance, demand trends, and customer behavior.
• Partner with senior leadership to evaluate tradeoffs, risks, and opportunities.
• Own forecasting and predictive modeling capabilities for resident entry fee budgeting and performance analysis.
• Establish enterprise forecasting standards and assumptions.
• Develop predictive models for future demand, revenue streams, and cash flow.
• Continuously improve forecasting methodologies and model accuracy.
• Lead resident financial underwriting and contract economics.
• Establish enterprise standards for resident financial qualification and underwriting.
• Oversee complex financial reviews for resident qualification and contract decisions.
• Serve as escalation for pricing, contract economics, refunds, and risk assessments.
• Ensure governance and documentation practices are followed.
