Job summary

Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, Inc. is seeking a Director of Practice Management to provide operational leadership across a growing ophthalmology practice in Waltham, MA.

This role will oversee multiple service lines, departments, and locations, guiding patient access, front desk services, central scheduling, and team development. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years in healthcare operations, 3+ years leading managers, and strong partnerships with physicians to improve performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive healthcare operations experience, preferably in a physician practice setting.
• Minimum of 3 years leading managers, departments, multi-site operations, or a combination thereof.
• Experience overseeing patient access, front desk operations, scheduling, and practice performance metrics preferred.
• Ophthalmology, ambulatory, or specialty practice experience strongly preferred.

OCB is seeking an experienced and collaborative Director of Practice Management to provide operational leadership across our growing ophthalmology practice. This leader will oversee multiple service lines, departments, and locations, with responsibility for practice operations, patient access, front desk services, central scheduling, team development, and strategic initiatives.

Working closely with physicians and operational leaders, the Director will drive performance, strengthen the patient experience, develop high-performing teams, and support the organization's continued growth across multiple sites.
