Job summary

Western Digital Corporation seeks a Director, Business Systems – PLM (Concept to Offer) to own the PLM platform strategy, integrations, and delivery across Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality. You will lead global IT teams and drive multi‑year roadmaps ensuring scalable, secure PLM solutions.

The role requires extensive PLM platform ownership, strong governance, and collaboration with senior leaders to enable product development and lifecycle management at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of enterprise IT experience with 10+ years of PLM platform ownership.
• Experience leading global IT teams and governance for mission-critical systems.
• Expertise with Agile PLM and leading PLM platforms (Windchill, Teamcenter, Enovia) including ERP integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead global IT teams responsible for PLM product management, application support, and platform administration.
• Own the enterprise PLM platform, including system architecture, roadmap, upgrades, and full lifecycle management.
• Define and execute a multi-year PLM technology roadmap to strengthen PLM-enabled processes and data.
• Architect and maintain integrations between PLM and ERP, CAD, QMS, MES, and supply chain platforms.
• Establish configuration management, master data governance, and technical controls for data quality and compliance.
• Ensure PLM platforms meet security, availability, performance, and regulatory requirements.
• Define global support models, SLAs, and escalation paths for reliable operations.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product teams to translate requirements into system capabilities.
• Manage system integrators and vendors to ensure delivery quality and value.
