Job summary

AgentSync is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the API and Distribution Application team, guiding backend, frontend, and platform initiatives. You will own the technical roadmap spanning identity, onboarding products, and third-party integrations while coordinating with Product, Support, and DevOps.

The role requires strong leadership in a fast-paced, regulatory environment and hands-on experience with Go/Java backend services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading backend/platform teams in B2B SaaS/regtech/insurtech.
• Hands-on with AI tooling integration and SDLC improvements.
• Strong ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of backend/frontend engineers delivering a net-new product from concept to GA.
• Own the technical roadmap for the identity and access model with Product.
• Drive AI transformation across the development organization and SDLC stages.
• Manage a development manager leading a customer operations engineering team.
• Partner with the CTO to shape strategy for new application delivery and roadmap execution.
• Oversee third-party payment and commissions integrations end-to-end, from API design to production support.
