AgentSync is seeking a Director of Engineering in Denver to lead the API and Distribution Application team, shaping the identity and authentication systems and onboarding capabilities that power our platform for carriers, agencies, and health plans. AgentSync started in 2018 with one conviction: compliance shouldn't be this hard. It should enable it. We're a venture backed category-defining SaaS company headquartered in Denver. We've raised $161 million from investors including Craft Ventures, Valor Equity Partners, and Marc Benioff.
Our culture runs on four values: customer love, inspire excellence, always be curious, and act like an owner. That means no ego, no politics, and real ownership over your work. If you want to build something that matters for an industry that's ready for change, we'd love to talk.
You'll lead a team solving genuinely hard, high-stakes problems — the systems you own sit between carriers, agencies, and regulators, and getting them right has real compliance consequences and large impacts to their business bottom line. You'll have a direct line to Product and leadership, autonomy over how your team works, and the chance to shape the identity and compliance architecture that the rest of the platform is built on.
AgentSync builds applications and the API infrastructure that lets insurance carriers, agencies, and health plans manage producer licensing, appointments, contracting, and onboarding without the manual busywork the industry is used to. We're hiring a Director, Engineering to lead the API and Distribution Application team — the group responsible for the identity and authentication systems, contracting/onboarding products, commercialized APIs, and the partnership data integrations that sit at the core of the AgentSync product.
This is a hands-on engineering leadership role: you'll manage a team of backend engineers, front end engineers, and own a technical roadmap that spans both platform and application ownership. This includes: a multi-org identity rework, NIPR connectivity, and third-party payment and commissions integrations, and be the person Product, Support, and DevOps turn to when platform-level questions come up.
