Job summary

AgentSync is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the API and Distribution Application team, owning the identity and authentication systems, contracting/onboarding products, and API integrations. You will manage backend and frontend engineers, drive a technical roadmap across platform and applications, and partner with Product, Support, and DevOps to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years managing backend or platform engineering teams in B2B SaaS or insurtech.
• Experience integrating AI-assisted tooling into engineering workflows with measurable gains.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
• Deep experience with identity and access management (SSO/OIDC, multi-tenant).
• Experience with regulatory/compliance data in engineering requirements.
• Strong cross-functional partnership with product, support, DevOps, security.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow frontend/backend teams building new products from concept through GA.
• Drive AI transformation across SDLC with AI-assisted tooling.
• Oversee identity and access model roadmap in collaboration with Product.
• Manage a development manager for customer operations engineering.
• Set and enforce UAT and release processes and ensure predictable delivery.
• Represent engineering in external forums and translate feedback into roadmaps.
