Job summary

CSL Plasma seeks a Director of I&T Plasma Engineering to define and own engineering standards, governance, and platform strategy across all Plasma digital domains. You will lead cross‑domain teams, oversee AI in production, and ensure security and compliance are embedded in every delivery.

The role reports to the Senior Director, Plasma I&T Applications & Operations, and manages a multidisciplinary team including Architects, AI/ML Engineers, SRE/DevOps, and UX Designers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience with at least 5 in leadership.
• Demonstrated success building and leading cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Recent hands‑on engineering within the last 3 years; credible technical leader.
• Track record of setting standards adopted across multiple product teams.
• Track record of shipping production AI systems, with governance and cost management.
• Product engineering depth across mobile, full‑stack web, Salesforce, and API.
• Deep expertise in enterprise architecture and cloud‑native strategy.
• Experience implementing AI/ML/generative AI in enterprise environments.
• Executive communication skills; able to translate strategy for senior leadership.
• Experience in regulated environments (life sciences/healthcare) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering Standards & Practices across all Plasma domains.
• Govern architecture, data, and cross-product technical decisions.
• Provide direct cross‑domain leadership and staffing standards.
• Own the technology platform strategy including Data Backbone and DevOps.
• Oversee technical quality metrics and AI governance in production.
• Ensure security and regulatory compliance are embedded in engineering.
