Job summary

Premier Health seeks a strategic Director of Physician Relations to lead physician employment matters across Premier Physician Network. You will partner with executive leaders, legal counsel, and operations to foster engagement, oversee investigations, and drive compliant workforce practices in a large regional health system.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR with physician relations, strong communication, and a track record of influencing senior decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience in healthcare.
• Demonstrated physician relations experience.
• Knowledge of employment laws (ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEOC, Title VII).
• Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead physician employee relations activities including investigations and performance management.
• Serve as the primary HR partner for physician employment issues.
• Collaborate with executives, legal counsel, and operations to assess risk.
• Oversee onboarding, transitions, leaves, and offboarding for physicians.
• Provide strategic consultation to leaders on complex employment issues.
