Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Philadelphia is seeking a senior Contract & Trade Specialist to develop and manage GSK Trade/Channel contracts across the lifecycle. You will partner with Legal, Finance, Market Access, and Trade teams to ensure compliant, competitive agreements.

The role requires 10+ years in pharmaceutical channel/trade distribution, strong analytics, and proven ability to draft and negotiate complex terms with major customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical channel/trade or distribution.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical channel/trade and specialty product distribution.
• Analytics experience (data management, financial modeling).
• Strategic implementation and business case development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain GSK Trade/Channel contracts across lifecycle.
• Partner with Trade, Market Access, Legal, FMV Compliance, Trade Operations, Trade Analytics, and Finance.
• Build relationships with GSK/ViiV Trade Partners and communicate clearly.
• Oversee distribution segments: wholesalers, distributors, specialty pharmacies, and digital channels.
• Provide contracting support for ViiV Healthcare distribution.
• Ensure contracts align with Fair Market Value compliance and legal guidance.
• Negotiate terms with external customers with internal sales/strategy teams.
• Review quarterly FFS payments based on Trade Agreement metrics.
• Support Terms of Sale/Terms of Purchase updates for direct purchasers.
• Contribute to Trade Strategy business case proposals to SPC.
