Job summary

Stellarus Technology seeks a Director, Performance Engineering and Test Automation to lead automated performance validation across the platform. You will define standards for testing, tooling, and production readiness, partnering with developers to improve signal and speed.

You will own the strategy for performance testing, load testing, synthetic monitoring, and release gates, guiding teams toward continuous validation and strong reliability signals.

Qualifications

• 10 years of software engineering, quality/ performance engineering, or platform experience.
• Lead teams or programs in performance, reliability, or production readiness.
• Hands-on with automated test systems, load testing, and pipelines.
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native apps.
• Familiar with latency, throughput, concurrency, caching, and DB performance.
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration of automated tests.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy and implement performance testing and reliability tooling.
• Partner with developers to set standards for testing and production readiness.
• Build and maintain automated testing pipelines and synthetic monitoring.
• Drive observability and release gates across services and platforms.
